Callaway Mini Driver Overview

The Paradym Ai Smoke Ti 340 is part of Callaway's innovative Paradym lineup, which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. I've used their Paradym driver and 3-wood (both Triple Diamond models) since mid-2023 and loved them. But after reviewing my stats, I knew my penalty shots on desert golf was killing me.

So I figured why not give it a shot. After several conversations with Scott Fawcett of DECADE Golf, he sold me on the endless benefits.

With a compact 340cc clubhead, it’s smaller than a traditional driver, giving you a lot more control. But it's still twice the size of a 3-wood!

Pros and Cons

After testing out the Callaway Mini driver for about a month, I think there are more pros than cons.

Pros:

  • Easier to hit than a 3-wood.
  • Fast ball speeds despite a shorter shaft.
  • Available in two lofts; 11.5 and 13.5 degrees.
  • Adjustable loft and lie for customization to fit in your bag.
  • Enhanced stability from Jailbreak Speed Frame technology make it incredibly straight.

Cons:

  • Might be too big for some golfers to hit off the deck.
  • Not the best stock shaft options for faster swinging golfers.
  • Nearly impossible to find - it's always sold out, but luckily I found one online.
  • Smaller head size may not appeal to players accustomed to traditional drivers.

Who Should Use the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Ti 340 Mini Driver?

The Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Ti 340 Mini Driver is ideal if you want a compact, powerful driver alternative. Whether you’re a low-handicap player seeking more control or someone who prefers the feel of fairway woods off the tee, this mini driver offers the best of both worlds: distance and precision.

I've yet to test out the TaylorMade models (it looks like Titleist is rolling one out at as well) but I have nothing but good things to say. The mini driver from Callaway is great looking, easy to hit off the deck, and incredibly reliable off the tee

Rating: 10/10 - this thing is wicked smart golf approved.
