Golf Forever Review: The Best Golf Fitness App?

GolForever Review

If you’re like most golfers, chances are you’re looking for ways to improve strength, hit it longer, and reduce injuries. Not to mention, maybe improve mobility and flexibility as well for a bigger shoulder turn.

The GolfForever Swing Trainer claims to be the ultimate at-home golf fitness program, designed to help golfers move better, gain power, and play pain-free. And endorsed by world #1 Scottie Scheffler (among other professional golfers).

But does it actually work?

In this review, I’ll break down everything you need to know about GolfForever—including what’s inside, how the training system works, and whether it’s worth the investment. If you're considering adding this to your golf routine, keep reading to see if it lives up to the hype.

Golf Forever Review

The GolfForever Swing Trainer is a golf-specific fitness and training system built to improve three key areas of your game: flexibility, mobility, and strength. These are the foundations of a more powerful, consistent, and injury-resistant swing.

Unlike traditional speed training tools that focus only on overspeed methods, GolfForever takes a more complete approach. It combines resistance bands, weighted training tools, and guided workouts designed by golf fitness experts to help you build a strong, balanced, and efficient swing from the ground up.

It’s not just another fitness app either —GolfForever uses a hybrid approach that pairs high-quality training gear with a well-designed app featuring personalized, easy-to-follow plans. Whether you're looking to hit it longer, move better, or prevent injuries, this system is built to support your long-term golf performance.

Unboxing GolfForever

When I first received the GolfForever Swing Trainer, I was immediately impressed by the presentation. The packaging was sleek, professional, and made it feel like a premium product right out of the box. Everything was neatly organized, making it easy to see exactly what was included and how to get started.

Inside the bag, there’s a surprising amount of gear included in the GolfForever Swing Trainer system. The package comes with:

  • A durable training bar with interchangeable resistance bands.
  • A door anchor to set up the system indoors with minimal hassle.
  • Two different resistance bands (light and medium) for progressive strength training.
  • Carabiners and handles to allow for a variety of grip options and exercise variations.
  • A 15-pound weighted ball attachment, designed to help with rotational power and swing stability.
  • Access to the GolfForever app, which provides structured workouts and guided training programs.

My First Impressions

The first thing I noticed when handling the equipment was how well-made it felt. The training bar is sturdy with a comfortable grip, the resistance bands feel durable, and the weighted ball attachment has a solid, high-quality construction. Nothing about this setup feels cheap or flimsy like a lot of training aids and at home exercise equipment.

What stood out to me most was how user-friendly it all was. The attachments clip on easily, the door anchor setup is straightforward, and within minutes, I was ready to start using it.

Compared to some training aids that require a complicated setup, GolfForever makes it simple to get started right away—whether you’re at home, in the gym, or even warming up before a round.

Overall, my first impression of the GolfForever Swing Trainer was overwhelmingly positive.

Program Structure and App Integration

Once you download the GolfForever app, you’re welcomed by a clean, user-friendly interface packed with valuable features — without the overwhelm. The home screen includes your daily workout, a full exercise and workout library, and your personalized Golf-Fit Score to track progress over time.

Workout Library

The Workout Library is arguably the most impressive part of the app. It’s loaded with content for all types of players, fitness levels, and goals. You’ll find:

  • Pre-Round Warm-Ups – Quick, effective routines to prime your body before you tee off.
  • Fundamentals – Build a solid base with core strength, balance, and movement exercises.
  • Rotational Power – Improve your swing speed and explosiveness with dynamic power movements.
  • Equipment Workouts – Targeted routines using the GolfForever Swing Trainer and resistance bands.
  • Injury Prevention – Focused sessions to improve stability, mobility, and avoid common golf-related injuries.

  • Golf Performance – Integrated workouts designed to improve on-course performance and overall strength.

Exercises

The Exercise section gives you access to individual movements led by different trainers, perfect if you want to customize your own sessions. Whether you're working on hip/shoulder separation, improving address position fundamentals, or developing agility, you’ll find targeted movements to support those goals.

Drills

In the Drills section, you’ll find practical, golf-specific movements and swing-enhancing exercises such as:

  • Setup & Posture
  • Tilt, Turn & Bend Mechanics
  • Swing Feels & Sequencing
  • Balance & Stability Work
  • Speed Drills for Power
  • Backswing Fundamentals

...and more, all designed to blend physical movement with swing improvement.

Personalized Experience

One of the most helpful features is how GolfForever tailors your training. After a short self-assessment, the app creates a program based on your goals, current fitness level, and mobility needs. Whether you want to gain distance, improve flexibility, or rehab from injury, the app intelligently adjusts your daily routines to match your progress and preferences.

GolfForever vs. Competitors

Compared to most golf fitness programs, GolfForever stands out in a few key ways:

  • Hybrid Approach: You’re not just getting an app — you’re getting a complete physical training system + guided programming, which most competitors don’t offer.
  • Built for Longevity: While some systems focus only on speed, GolfForever focuses on strength, mobility, injury prevention, and long-term performance.
  • Expert Programming: The workouts are designed by doctors, trainers, and coaches who specialize in golf performance, not just general fitness.

Whether you're just starting a golf fitness journey or looking to optimize your current training, GolfForever is one of the most complete and accessible systems on the market.

My Results with Golf Forever

In October 2024, I completely revamped my fitness routine. I had been doing high-intensity workouts like F45 and long runs — they felt good in the moment, but I wasn’t seeing the progress I wanted in my golf game. So I shifted gears.

I started doing full-body strength training 3–4 times a week, focusing on heavier compound movements. On the other days, I replaced cardio and circuits with golf-specific training — explosive movements, mobility work, core training, and rotational exercises. That’s also when I began incorporating GolfForever workouts consistently.

I also dialed in my nutrition, upping my protein intake to 1 gram per pound of body weight. The results?

Nothing short of amazing.

My driving distance increased by 15–20 yards, and my iron distances jumped 7–10 yards across the board. My clubhead speed is up to 115 mph, and ball speed is now touching 170 mph.

On top of that, I feel better than ever — more energy, fewer aches and pains, and most importantly, zero injuries thanks to better mobility and strength, especially in my core.

This comprehensive approach — mixing GolfForever into a smart training schedule — has made a huge difference in both how I feel and how I perform. I’m playing some of the best golf of my life.

Closing Thoughts

If you’re serious about playing better golf and feeling better off the course, you need to take your fitness seriously. Not only will you look better and feel more energized, but the discipline of sticking to a plan builds confidence and mental toughness — both of which carry over to the course.

The more results you see, the more motivated you’ll be to stick with it. And the longer you can stay healthy, the longer you’ll enjoy this game.

While I’m no longer a personal trainer anymore, I believe every golfer should lift heavy a few times per week with general strength training. Then, on non-lifting days, incorporate golf-specific training to build speed, rotational power, and mobility.

That’s where GolfForever really shines — it takes the guesswork out of those sessions and keeps your training focused on what matters most. It is an impressive, well-rounded system that can improve your golf fitness on and off the course.
